Mining Engineer (Code: ME) - Kalimantan Timur

Responsibilities:
  • Undertake short and long term production and financial planning to determine the resources required to operate the pit, manage operating cost within budget, identify key issues and satisfy production goals.
  • Support daily technical aspects of the pit operation such as short and long term planning, blast design, drainage and road design to assist in achieving agreed coal production targets.
  • Undertake environmental rehabilitation and design process as an integral part of both short and long term planning in line with PC’s environmental policy.
  • Prepare Geotechnical/Planning reports and documents to ascertain drainage, geological blasting and environmental issues impacting pit coal production.
  • Conduct investigations into planning accuracy and other projects as requested.
  • Evaluate equipment performance by means of field studies and analyzing production reports.
  • Produce reports of the result for dissemination throughout the Mining Operation Division to enable a common approach and understanding to be gained.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification (S1 degree) in Mining Engineering with minimum 2 years experience in open cut mining operations ideally with exposure to truck and shovel operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of pit production activities and equipment, pit technical and pit maintenance process, procedures and activities.
  • Good knowledge of coal mining terminology.
  • Excellent planning, analytical and organization skill.
  • A very good understanding of MINEX mining software.
  • Good Interpersonal & communication skill in both bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Possess "Pengawas Operational Pratama" certification from Directorate General of Mining and Energy.

Engineer Electrical (Code: E-EP) - Kalimantan Timur

Responsibilities:
  • Part of project to initiate and developing the project plan and detemine key priorities
  • Provide technical advice and deliver service consistent with time, quality, environment and safety parameters and contribute to the overall success of the projects
  • Identity potential problems and risks and develops contingency/mitigation plans. Oversees implementation of the project plan and monitors progress
  • Liaise and intensive communication with customer, contractors, consultants and KP personnel for electrical, control system and related project requirements
  • Ensure that all services and projects undertaken meet technical specification, standard and project management practise
  • Demostrated commitment to HSE and meeting the requirements of Prima Nirbhaya
  • Perform key priorities detemined in the section's annual plan. Contribute in achieving section's budget plan and work priorities to provide efficient, effective customer service and identification of strength and opportunity
Requirements:
  • Possess extensive experiences and proven skills in running service/operation/maintenance and production facilities in the mining or industry, preferably involving remote or develop locations
  • Have an understanding of how to manage projects, including engineering, procurement and construction of fixed plant's electrical and control systems
  • Use experience accumulated in the current or similiar roles to demostrate a capability to think across others
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills both in Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Good knowledge of KPC's HSE policies, procedures and standards
  • Possess S1 in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years or D3 in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 year of relevant mining/industry experiences

Supervisor Dispatch - Kalimantan Timur

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operation of the Modular Mining Truck Dispatch System.
  • Manage the DISPATCH system by maintaining the configuration of the system, such as status of dumping, benches and the road network.
  • Ensure allocates the correct GPS reference for benches, Call Points and dumps as well as name them according to the correct naming.
  • Monitor and manage the process of communicating KPIs required by MOD management to field supervisors as well as provide advice on changes and agreed actions for operation improvement in order to reduce queuing and other delays affecting the operation.
  • Coordinate inter pit borrowing and lending of equipment in order that equipment utilization is optimized across the Mining Operation Division.
  • Allocate work priorities, raise the employee’s understanding of the MMS system and ensure an effective support service is provided to mine management and the Shift Supervisor at all times.
  • Review staffing and equipment availability prior to commencing shift and lilies with the Shift Superintendent and Overburden Supervisors in order to allocate resources effectively to meet the shift’s production targets.
  • Coordinate and communicate with personnel within the Mining Support Division’s Maintenance area to notify equipment location and breakdowns.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma 3 with 5 years experience or Senior High School with 8 years experience in open cut mining operations, ideally with exposure to more than one facet of coal production as well as good understanding of mine process and terminology, preferably with mine production supervisor experience.
  • Good understanding with related SOP, mining regulation, GM MOD rules and other company regulation.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of MMS-DISPATCH system, preferably with dispatching experience.
  • Familiarity with MinVu ReportingSystem Database
  • Excellent knowledge of pit production procedures, activities and equipment, pit technical and pit maintenance process, procedures and activities.
  • Excellent Leadership, planning, analytical and organization skills.
  • Well developed interpersonal & communication skills (oral and written) in both bahasa Indonesia and English.

Manager - Internal Audit (Code: MIA)

Qualifications & Experience:
  • At least 10 (ten) years internal audit experience. Ideally in a large scale corporate environment covering operational, risk, assurance audits as well as audit work at a recognized senior level and exposure to the oil, gas or mining industries.
  • Tertiary qualifications (S1 degree) in business management and/or accounting, Master degree is preferred.
  • Managerial and supervisory experience.
  • Project management skills.
  • Attention to detail together with analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills (written and oral).
  • Report writing skills.
  • Hold professional/expertise certification from recognized professional institution (such as Certified Internal Auditor from The Institute of Internal Auditor).
  • Fluency in both English and Indonesian to converse with both internal and external personnel.
  • Maximum age – no more than 40 years old.
  • Develop a flexible annual audit plan using an appropriate risk-based methodology, including any risks or control concerns identified by management, and submit that plan to the audit committee for review and approval as well as periodic updates.
  • Implement the annual audit plan, as approved, including as appropriate any special tasks or projects requested by management and the audit committee.
  • Evaluate and assess significant merging/ consolidating functions and new or changing services, processes, operations, and control processes coincident with their development, implementation, and/or expansion.
  • Keep the audit committee informed of emerging trends and successful practices in internal auditing.
  • Provide a list of significant measurement goals and results to the audit committee.
  • Assist in the investigation of significant suspected fraudulent activities within the organization and notify management and the audit committee of the results.
  • Consider the scope of work of the external auditors and regulators (including government appointed auditors), as appropriate, for the purpose of providing optimal audit coverage to the organization at a reasonable overall cost.
  • Provide annually an assessment on the adequacy and effectiveness of the organization’s processes for controlling its activities and managing its risks in the areas set forth under the mission and scope of work.
  • Report significant issues related to the processes for controlling the activities of the organization and its affiliates, including potential improvements to those processes, and provide information concerning such issues through resolution.
  • Periodically provide information on the status and results of the annual audit plan and the sufficiency of department resources.
  • Coordinate with and provide oversight of other control and monitoring functions (risk management, compliance, security, legal, ethics, environmental, external audit).
